Take me out to the Ballgame!!

Today was a big day - I attended my first major league baseball game. It was Spring Training - the Padres vs the Mariners. You know what that means...Ken Griffey Jr!!! My namesake for those of you who just don't get my name. He is my daddy's favorite player. He might be old school but he is a legend. This is probably his last year to play too since he's an old man at 40 and all. So mommy and daddy and their friends Goose and Janice bought us lawn seats and packed me in my stroller and off we went!

Here is me in the car seat on the way to the game - note the excitement! I was so knocked out I didn't even flinch when mommy put Mary Kate size glasses on me.

During first few innings...snoozing in my stroller. Don't worry - mommy just

pulled up the shade to take the picture - then she put it back down so the sun was not on me.

Daddy and me - he's on his phone (per usual) and I'm sleeping (per usual).

We sat in right field...Ichiro was so close!

Swing batter batter batter....SWING! He ended up with a

walk but daddy had his glove ready just in case!

Griffey Jr at first base...he would end up scoring the first run of the game!
Too bad we left in the 7th and the Mariners were down 9-3.





Hey quit covering me up - I can't see the game. And where are my
peanuts and cracker jacks everyone keeps singing about?!?






Finally home - whew! I'm exhausted - please...no autographs tonight!

Go Bolts!!

Today I went to my first sporting event. My cousin Anna had her first softball game...she plays for Desert Sky Middle School - woot woot Bolts in the house!!
Here is Anna during her one and only at bat...I'm not saying what happened but let's just say there was a K involved.

Kayla was there too - she did her best to protect me from foul balls!

After the game - who cares if they lost...I'm here and that put a smile on her face!

All that activity wore me out...goodnight people!!

Boogers

My mommy was so excited today...she finally conquerered the bulb...you know the baby nose booger cleaner thingy. Here is a picture.

She got a big old booger out...thank goodness I can now breathe!! She was so excited she called Daddy at work and told him she was finally a good mother - she cleaned my nose. Oh boy - the thrill of victory.

Here are some pictures from my day. We 'ran errands' with Grammy again. I'm not sure why they call it that because it was really a shopping excursion that included lunch out. I think they say that so daddy and GT don't get mad they are out spending their hard earned money!! Shhhh...don't tell daddy but I saw mommy buy new shoes.

Belly Buttons and new Kicks!!

Daddy went back to work today...I cried. Very few things make me cry - when I'm hungry, tired, cold, wet or when Daddy can't chill with me during the day. He said he had to work to pay for my diapers and formula...whatevs!

Good news though - my belly button fell off!! During my 2:30am feeding my mom found it in my diaper. I wanted to keep it in a jar but she threw it away. Oh wells...it would probably start to smell after a while any ways. In honor of my new belly button, daddy took some fun pictures of me after my bath. I'm looking at the man in the mirror...and he looks good!! Check me out!

I also included a picture of my new shoes courtesy of Grammy. She couldn't resist...and mommy loves Shaq. Can't wait to wear them!!
