I have 2 very cool cousins that live

in the same city as me - they are

quite a bit older but that just

makes me get a lot of their attention!

They fight over who gets to hold me.

How cool is that?

This is Anna with my honorary cousin Sierra (CC).

She loves me just as much...and she's pretty too.
Her and Anna are great babysitters!

They woke up at 6:40a yesterday on their

first day of summer break to walk me to

school - now that's love people!!

Earlier this week I hung out in my swing

and watched the Suns beat LA!! Finally.

Lounging Around

The lounge chair was great - I thoroughly enjoyed

myself just laying there.

Anna graduates from 8th grade tonight.

By time I start kindergarten both her

and Kayla will be in college!!

Sophie le Giraffe

My mommy reads several other blogs
(none that are better than mine of course)
and all of them talk about the must have
item for babies - Sophie the Giraffe.
When mommy was a little girl she collected
giraffes so she was pretty much sold straight away.
This weekend she brought home my very
own Sophie - an indication that I will most
definitely be a spoiled little boy and have
all the latest and greatest toys!
So back to Sophie - today is the her birthday.
The first Sophie the Giraffe was made on
May 25, 1961 in France.
You can tell already that I love my new toy...
it went right in my mouth!

Sleep Fighter

We went to a BBQ this weekend...it was

pretty cool even though I didn't get to

eat any of the yummy foods.

I'll post more pictures later this week but

here is a great one of me and my daddy.

Mommy said I looked

like a Prep School boy in my khaki shorts

and navy blue collared shirt. She kept making

fun of me and I was like - uh you are the one

that picked it out for me to wear!

It's not like I really have a choice or

am even aware of what I have on...duh!

In the car on the way over I was so excited but

so sleepy...I was fighting sleep big time

and daddy got it all on video.

Unswaddled

Tonight everything seemed normal - I

had my late night milkers and a diaper

change, then mommy put some pj's on

me. They were long sleeved and covered

my legs too so I thought I was in for a hot

night once she swaddled me. But then

the strangest thing happened -

she gave me my paci and said goodnight.

Wait - no swaddle?

No for real - no swaddle?

Guess not!

Oh boy - will I be able to sleep?

Well first you gotta turn out that light
and stop taking pictures - the flash is
killing me!


I surrender...

Knocked out! Who needs a swaddle? I'm a big boy now!
Now if you want me to stay asleep you gotta
kill that flash.

The Birds and the Bears

I accidentally left my Cubs shirt over

at Grammy and GT's...big mistake. Huge!

GT always tells me 'Cubs drool, Cards rule!'

Then mommy tells me he's wrong, it's

really 'Cards drool, Cubs rule!

I gotta go with my mommy.

So I was a little displeased when I got

my Cubs shirt back.

Something smells...

Wait a minute, is that what I think it is?

Ewwww...

I'm so upset...my shirt is ruined!

Mommy said she could fix it. Can I look yet?

Hmmmm...I think it's back to normal.

Woohoo!! Go Cubs!!

It's all smiles now!

Flashback Friday - a real snooze fest

Today on Flashback Friday we'll take a look

at me at my best - getting some shuteye!

I'm so tired on Fridays it's only appropriate

that we focus on rest.

I can nap like a champ as you can tell

from these pictures from back in the day.

And in case you are wondering, I am sleeping

through the night...I'm a big boy!!
