The Business of Sleep

I'm a creature of habit...I have a process

each night that results in me getting my beauty sleep.

It starts with the milkers...you know how much

I like my milkers. They are all lined up

and ready to go, right next to daddy's

Mountain Dew and Mommy's Coke.
Trust me - they need the caffeine!

This is how I take my milkers - straight up!

Now we can see I'm in the burping/milk coma phase.

Mommy is just about to assist me belch.

Don't worry, I can let them rip!

After burping I kind of space out for a little while.

I'm sure you do the same thing afer a big satisfying meal.



Next we move to the dirty work...diaper changing.
Don't worry, I'm not gonna show you my business
and this blog is not a scratch and sniff...
you can continue reading and no harm will
come to your eyes or nose!




Whoopsie...it's a doozy but mommy and
daddy are seasoned pros by now!



Now we come to the art of the swaddle.
It is a very important step so pay close attention.
I may just continue to be swaddled until
I start Kindergarten!



Success!! It kind of looks like a baby

straight jacket but no worries...I love it!!


Now dim the lights, mute the TV and
lickity split...I'm happily sleeping!
Well for the moment at least...come
1 or 2am I like to make mommy
or daddy do the whole thing again!!

Seriously mommy - the flash! I think we got it

so please stop now...haven't you heard...it's dangerous

to wake a sleeping baby!!

Ladies love the cool G!

I can't help it - wherever I am I attract the

women like flies. Today I went to daddy's work

and I was immediately surrounded by 5 women

oohing and ahhing over me. I practically felt their drool!

I was fake sleeping cause sometimes it's just hard to be

so cute and to be on all the time, know what I'm sayin'?

I mean come on, look at me...even I can't get enough!

I try not to take my shirt off too often...

I should be getting paid for looking this good!

Meet Pooky

Whew, it's safer for both of us in the crib!

I love Pooky. He doesn't say all that much but

then again, neither do I.

Maybe that is why we are BFF's.

Rubber Duckie You're the One!

After my bath tonight mommy and daddy

put me in my rubber duckie gown.

It's so soft and cozy - I love it!!

Of course they had to get the camera out and

take pictures of me with my rubber duckie.

song...too bad she doesn't know the words.
It doesn't stop her - she makes stuff up!

Then they pulled out all my bath toys. When I

get big enough I am going to have so much

fun playing with all these guys and splashing

mommy and daddy!!

All that wore me out...I surrender!!

Now let me sleep!

Onesie bites the dust!

It's a sad time in the Crutcher household.

I have outgrown my Cubs onesie.

Mommy is very sad. She said daddy brought

it home from a business trip to Chicago.

This is the very first outfit I wore...ever in my whole life!

Here I am at the hospital. I was pretty little.

This is the last time I wore it...and I actually couldn't

even snap it because it was already too little!

Oh the memories!

The very last shot...I am so sad I'm crying.
(Not really...mommy told me to say that. The truth
is this thing is hard and no fun to lay on!)


Don't feel too sorry for me...here are all
the rest of my clothes.
I think I'll be OK.

Knocked out…kicked blanket off my legs just like mommy does.

Beginning to stir…do I smell milkers?

Just Take the Picture!!!

Today there was an impromptu photo shoot,

much to my displeasure. It all went down when Mommy

and I returned from a long day out for lunch and

‘running errands’ with Grammy and Aunt Marcy

(I know what you are thinking and I think they need therapy

too for all those ‘errands’ - but at least they didn’t look at a

single pair of shoes today!). All I wanted was to kick back

and relax while I sucked down my early evening milkers

but no – mommy had other ideas. Apparently the outfit I wore

today was “to die for” and she just had to get a picture.

At first I cried and wasn’t having it. Then mommy started singing

and jumping around acting a fool so I obliged her and sat still

for a while. I figured the sooner she got the pictures the

sooner I could get my mouth on that bottle!

Anyways…here are the pictures…I hope you enjoy!!

Sock Monkeying Around

My mommy has a VERY cool friend Julie who

lives all the way in Alabama.

We wish she lived closer so I could play

with her kiddos and Mom and Julie could

"run errands" together.

Miss Julie sent me

the cutest hat, socks and outfit with sock

monkeys...you are going to die when you

see how cute I am in it. The outfit is too

big but I will wear it soon...I am growing

like a weed!

Miss Cara at Mommy's work gave me this frog.

My mommy takes my picture by it every month

to see how much I've grown. Too bad they

don't make stuffed Griffey Animals...they'd sell like hot cakes!

In the Hood

The good news....the cousins are back from California.

The bad news...Aunt Stacy had her camera

so there was a photo shoot!

I have to admit...I'm pretty photogenic.

I'm just an all around cool baby dude.

Do you recognize me?

Can you tell I grew a whole inch and

gained 2 pounds? I bet you hardly

even recognized me I've gotten so big!

I am 4 weeks old now....on Tuesday we went

to see Dr. B and some mean lady stuck

a big old needle in my leg.

Daddy gave her a dirty look and

mommy said she let the air out of her tires

but I don't think she really did. I got a cool

bandaid though...can you see it in the picture?

My new stats are:

9 pounds 7 oz

22 inches

Yesterday was St Paddy's day...so

mommy dressed me in head to toe

green and I drank a keg of green milkers!

I'm a little hung over today...good thing

all that was on the agenda was eat, sleep and poop!

I'll be back soon...right now it's time for bed!

Sweet Tea and Wonton Soup!

My Gran Ma and Aunt Snacki are visiting me from Tennessee...

YEEE-HAW!!!! Daddy made a bunch of sweet tea and we

are just hanging out and getting lots of cuddles.

Tonight we drove almost an hour to get to

mommy and daddy's favorite Chinese restaurant.

I slept all the way there and all the way back!

I woke up just as mommy's food arrived so she

got to feed me first LOL! I've got good timing!

Here I am with Harry - owner and daddy's personal

chef...he always cooks daddy's food for him.

He was super excited to meet me!

Gran Ma took me for my diaper change while Mommy

finally got to eat. Here is our first picture together!

Aunt Snacki cuddled me for a little while too. Ignore random

dude in background picking his boogers.
